PT Wahana Mitra Semesta and PT Griya Idola, as the developers of Patimban Industrial Estate, signed a cooperation agreement with the Class II Patimban Harbormaster and Port Authority Office (KSOP) on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, at the Ministry of Transportation office. This cooperation aims to develop public access infrastructure, connecting Industrial Estates in Patimban with Patimban Port.

The event was attended by Hengky Sidartawan, President Director of PT Wahana Mitra Semesta, Eddy Karli, Director of PT Wahana Mitra Semesta, the Director General of Sea Transportation, the Head of KSOP Class II Patimban, and other related representatives from the Ministry of Transportation. The event opened with an opening speech from Hengky Sidartawan, followed by the signing ceremony, and concluded with a speech by Muhammad Masyhud, Director General of Sea Transportation at the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia.

The event was attended by Muhammad Masyhud, Director General of Sea Transportation, the Head of KSOP Class II Patimban, and representatives from the Ministry of Transportation. In his remarks, Masyhud emphasized that the cooperation extends beyond the construction of physical infrastructure such as roads and access gates. It also focuses on establishing an integrated connectivity system between the port and the surrounding industrial area. “The infrastructure development is expected to enhance port service efficiency and strengthen national logistics competitiveness,” he stated.

Also present were Eddy Karli, Director of PT Wahana Mitra Semesta, and Hengky Sidartawan, President Director of PT Wahana Mitra Semesta, who delivered the opening remarks on behalf of the developer. The event continued with the signing ceremony, which is expected to improve vehicle access to Patimban Port, enabling faster, more efficient logistics operations. The optimization of Patimban Port as a key component of national connectivity is also expected to support export and import activities and contribute to national economic growth.

Enhancing port accessibility will further support the development of the surrounding industrial area. Improved connectivity is expected to facilitate business operations, create employment opportunities, and stimulate economic growth in the region.
