PT Krakatau Tirta Industri (KTI), a company specializing in clean water and industrial water provision, has officially signed a Consortium Agreement for the Plan to Collaborate on the Provision and Management of Clean Water and Wastewater Networks in the Patimban Industrial Estate. The agreement was made in partnership with PT Griya Idola (GI), a property and real estate development company in Indonesia. This collaboration marked a joint initiative to address the clean water and wastewater management needs of the Patimban Industrial Estate, a designated National Strategic Project (Proyek Strategis Nasional/PSN).

KTI's President Director, Pria Utama, and GI's President Director, Hengky Sidartawan, attended the signing ceremony, along with GI Director Eddy Karli on 16 December 2024. Also present were Agus Lukmanul Hakim - KTI's Director of Business Development and Commercial, Fenti Handayani - KTI's Vice President of Business Development, Djuliawati - GI's Director, and senior management from both companies. Through this partnership, KTI and GI are committed to constructing a 300-liter-per-second (L/s) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and a 240-liter-per-second (L/s) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to serve the estate's needs.

GI's initiative to deliver advanced infrastructure for the Patimban Industrial Estate underscores the area's strategic position adjacent to the Patimban Port in West Java. With its advanced infrastructure, comprehensive facilities, and high-quality property, the industrial estate is ideal for various industries aiming to expand their businesses.

The Patimban Industrial Estate's water supply system is designed for staged development to meet the area's full requirements. Construction is set to start in 2025, with operations slated to begin in early 2026. The consortium has also reaffirmed its commitment to prioritizing environmental sustainability.
