In raising environmental awareness to the society, especially inside the institutional workplaces, both government and private companies, Waste4Change held an online webinar inviting Wisma Barito Pacific (WBP) as a speaker on Thursday, 27 August 2020. Represented by Raja Wahid Manurung from WBP's building management, the company was chosen for its capability as the office waste-management role model. Winning various environmental awards from several credible green associations, WBP was asked to share its proven methodology in the workplace's waste-management. Joined by Sudirman, Society Staff of The Ministry of Public Works and Housing as well as Martin Manorak, Waste4Change Operational Head, this two hours webinar themed "Workplaces Waste Management as Disaster Prevention" successfully shares several waste-management models.

One of the innovative workplace's waste-management implementation in this webinar is the Zero Waste to Landfill program in WBP. The company implements the waste sorting policy for all of its tenants as a legal obligation, which is stated in the rental contract, with a specific penalty fee. Two officers provided to do the daily inspection and collect validated results. The monthly recollection result is announced by displaying it as a lift poster, enabling the whole tenant to see the result. It is expected to be an effective way to drive all tenants in maintaining the reputation, as well as functioned as an award for the best tenant. The program has since effectively reduced the amount of waste up to 9 tons per month from the landfill.
