6 October 2025 - Created By Patimban Industrial Estate
The West Java Provincial Government has formally reaffirmed its commitment to the development of the Patimban Industrial Estate through the signing of a cooperation agreement. The document was officially endorsed by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi and concurrently signed by Dedi Taufik, Head of the West Java Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP). This agreement marks a significant milestone in efforts to foster a more investment-friendly environment and position Subang as a key emerging industrial hub.
To enhance the estate’s appeal and facilitate business growth, the government has outlined several strategic measures. These include streamlining the permitting process to accelerate investment activities, as well as offering fiscal incentives such as reductions in local taxes and levies to ease entry for new investors. In addition, the province will intensify its investment promotion through business forums, targeted matchmaking events, and digital outreach campaigns to attract strategic partners.
A strong emphasis is also being placed on workforce development. Subang produces tens of thousands of new graduates each year, and wage levels in the region remain competitive with corporate budgeting structures. To meet the demand for skilled labor, the provincial government is advancing vocational training programs and strengthening partnerships with vocational high schools (SMKs) through link-and-match initiatives. These efforts aim to ensure a steady pipeline of job-ready talent, benefiting both businesses and local communities. Moreover, collaboration with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is being encouraged to deepen economic integration across the region.
To support the operational readiness of the estate, the government is also ensuring the availability of ready-to-build land, complemented by essential infrastructure development. As part of the agreement, local authorities have committed to accelerating the construction of key facilities, including access roads, utilities, and public amenities. The estate’s development will be guided by sustainability principles, with a clear expectation that industrial progress be balanced with environmental stewardship and respect for local cultural values.
Through this comprehensive approach, the West Java Provincial Government aims to ensure that the Patimban Industrial Estate delivers not only immediate economic benefits, but also long-term, sustainable growth for Subang and the broader West Java region.
