Roca Group Builds Vitreous China Sanitary Factory in Indonesia

Housing-Estate.com, Jakarta - A sanitary company from Barcelona (Spain), Roca, began plans for industrial and commercial implementation in Indonesia by building a Vitreous China production plant (a type of porcelain) at Griya Idola Industrial Park, Cikupa, Tangerang. The implementation program in Indonesia includes an investment of more than 60 million Euros which consists of the Roca brand development plan here. 

The inauguration of the factory construction was carried out on Thursday (9/14) by planting a time capsule by Kam Kettin (owner of PT Suryaprabha Jatisatya), Kelvin Tjiandra (Managing Director of Roca Indonesia), and Emilio Ferer (Operations Director of Roca Indonesia). 

The 74,000 m2 plant will produce around 650,000 sanitary units made from Vitreous China per year and is planned to start operating in the second half of next year. Not only producing Vitreous China, the factory will also produce other products. Right in 2017, Roca has turned a century old in the global sanitary industry and has been present in 170 markets around the world.
