PT Griya Idola and PT Wahana Mitra Semesta, through their project Patimban Industrial Estate, officially launched a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aimed at communities surrounding the area. The CSR program was held on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at the Subang Village Office, West Java, and was attended by the Regent (Bupati) of Subang, the Sub-district Head (Camat) and other village officials, as well as representatives from the management of Patimban Industrial Estate. This CSR initiative focuses on improving long-term quality of life through home renovations for local residents and improvements to access roads, which play an important role in supporting the mobility of the community.
The President Director of PT Griya Idola, Hengky Sidartawan, stated that the growth of an industrial area must go hand in hand with improving the welfare of surrounding communities. According to him, the home renovation and road improvement program reflects the Company’s commitment to delivering long-term benefits, rather than simply providing short-term social assistance or basic food packages that have become common today. “Griya Idola itself has a residential development business, and this experience has given us a deeper understanding of how important housing quality is to people’s lives. Unlike food assistance that may only last a few days, a home is what protects families every day and becomes the space where they grow. In the long run, a person’s quality of life will always be closely linked to the quality of the home they live in,” said Hengky. He added that this statement aligns with the Company’s vision of building an industrial environment that provides sustainable benefits.
The home renovation program is focused on houses that are in urgent need of repair. The renovations include improvements that enable each family to live in a home that is more decent, safe, and healthy. Meanwhile, the access road improvements are intended to enhance safety and comfort for road users, facilitate community mobility, and support local economic activities, including access to essential facilities.
As part of its commitment to growing together with the community, Patimban Industrial Estate implements CSR programs that are not only focused on physical development, but also ensure that the activities address local needs. In its implementation, the Company involves local workers as well as village officials and community leaders to ensure smooth execution and to create a positive impact that can be felt directly by residents. These efforts are expected to strengthen the relationship between the industrial area and the community, while supporting the sustainable development of Patimban and its surrounding areas. This sustainability concept is not only reflected in CSR programs, but is also integrated into Patimban Industrial Estate through the adoption of environmentally friendly industrial practices within the estate. Programs such as the provision of Renewable Energy Certificates (REC) and the use of solar-based energy form part of the Company’s commitment toward more sustainable operations. Developed by PT Wahana Mitra Semesta and PT Griya Idola, a subsidiary of Barito Pacific Group, this 1,200-hectare estate offers a range of industrial properties, including industrial plots, shop-houses (ruko), warehouses, and a modern logistics center. Its location adjacent to the port and directly connected to the toll road network is expected to help accelerate export-import processes and reduce logistics costs. Supported by complete industrial utilities and facilities, the estate is projected to become one of the key drivers in strengthening Subang’s potential as Indonesia’s future hub for automotive manufacturing and logistics.
Griya Idola is a property-focused subsidiary of Barito Pacific Group, which operates in the petrochemical, power generation, and property sectors. Griya Idola develops and manages a diverse portfolio including commercial property, industrial estates, hotels, and residential developments in Indonesia. Griya Idola’s strengths lie in design, development, and operations, supported by significant asset ownership and Barito Pacific Group’s extensive network. With a trusted reputation for delivering quality products and properties, Griya Idola will continue to create value through the development of ready-to-build land in Indonesia while capturing real estate growth opportunities across Asia.
