As we live today, carbon dioxide (CO²) from burning toxic fossil fuels is responsible for the majority of pollution. While being non-renewable energy, it is damaging the environment. It remains in our climate system for a very long time, in contrary to solar utilization, which produces clean, emission-free electricity.

Providing sustainability for the society and ecosystem, Griya Idola proudly announced its pilot project of Solar panels in Griya Idola Industrial Park. Monday, 18 December 2019 marked the first commissioning of the project, set to assist Water and Waste Water Treatment Plant, both functioning as other green technologies, developed by the company, to recycle and filtrate harmful liquid wastes. The commissioning procedure has undergone a long process since its first solar panel installment to the control system, interconnected the mini panel, and finalized by the installation of meter reading, in collaboration with PLN. 

With an estimated lifetime savings of 856,350 kg CO² and 916,863 kWh electricity, it consequently brings a significant energy-saving contribution equivalent to CO² emissions by 277,626 liters of gasoline consumed or electricity consumed by 627 homes per year. Completing the pilot project of the Solar panel, Griya Idola Industrial Park will be awarded as the pioneer of the environmentally friendly industrial park in Cikupa to support the government's green initiative program.
