One of Griya Idola's projects, Wisma Barito Pacific II office building, is officially Green Building Certified. Implementing the Green Building standard since last year’s construction process, now the building stands tall beyond its grandeur architecture, exquisitely exhibiting elegance in its interior. The green concept can be perceived significantly inside by applying lush greenery to a total area of ±1.600 sqm spanning many parts of the building, namely the Green Balconies, Green Terraces, Sky Terraces, Sky Garden, and Green Walls. However, Green Building certification is not just about the plants, it comprises broader aspects. Generally, the Green Building certification process starts from the construction process until completion through Design Recognition (DR) phase and Final Assessment (FA) phase.

The certification process conducts by Green Building Council Indonesia (GBC Indonesia), a non-profit organization that aims to transform the building sector by applying Green Building principles. GBC Indonesia is an established member of the World GBC and the only Green Building council organization in Indonesia that is globally recognized. As for 2022, GBC Indonesia has certified dozens of buildings across Indonesia, including Wisma Barito Pacific II, originated from last July's GBC final conference as Gold certified building by passing the scoring parameters comprise of Appropriate Site Development (ASD), Energy Efficiency & Conservation (EEC), Water Conservation (WAC), Material Resources & Cycle (MRC), Indoor Health & Comfort (IHC), and Building Environmental Management (BEM). This achievement comes from Griya Idola’s effort, which continuously creates and executes several breakthroughs in Wisma Barito Pacific II. The building’s floor-to-ceiling glass walls can reduce the heat by up to 25%, decreasing the glasshouse effect of global warming. The utilization of T5 and LED LPD lighting saves energy up to ±1.9 million kWh/year. 70% of the building's water usage utilizes recycled water from owned processing mechanisms (STP), reducing soil water exploitation and saving water up to ±28.000 cbm/year. Other factors are also considered in the scoring process, including waste-sorting management, eco-friendly construction materials, and convenient access for bikers, pedestrians, and public transportations. After a long journey of accomplishing the goal, it's time for Griya Idola to contribute significantly to environmental sustainability.
