The covid-19 pandemic has globally spread in Indonesia and impacted the loss of many economic aspects, especially the F&B sector. The restaurant has one of the lowest cash flow since the increasing number of society fearful for its safety and hygiene.

In the pursuit of the solution to answer the fear in the society, regaining the trust, as well as a token of appreciation for F&B business owner’s implementation of the comprehensive health protocol, on Tuesday, 17 November 2020, the Ministry of Health held Health & Environment sector awarding event 2020 (online). It was attended by Terawan Agus Putranto (Health Minister), Tito Karnavian (Home Affairs Minister), Budi Karya Sumadi (Transportation Minister), dan Wishnutama Kusubandio (Tourism & Creative Economy Minister). It is announced that Infinity Restaurant by Mambruk Hotel & Convention is recognized for its consistency in implementing health protocol on all of its venue, food production, and serving process, out of other event registrants from 63 cities and 19 provinces in Indonesia.

The awardee has passed the layered selection process, from audit, field inspection to validation from the expert, including the Ministry of Health, The Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy, various universities, professional organizations, associations, institutions, and food practitioners. The scoring system was focused on the implementation of safety and hygiene protocol as the standard from the Ministry of Health regulation. Ultimately, it is also scored by the registrant’s innovation or fresh idea to support their implementation of the health protocol.

This award has been a pride for Griya Idola, the owner and management of Mambruk Hotel & Convention, as Infinity Restaurant is becoming the only Restaurant Hotel category gaining the 2020 award from Serang Banten district. Other district’s awardees including Collage Restaurant by Pullman Central Park Jakarta, the restaurant at Best Western Premier Batam, and Fave Hotel Manahan Solo.
